Last Winter Blast

Winter is almost at it's end I've been gettin' some serious work in. From recording to writing and performing, all while stayin in touch through the social networking sites. Twitter is one of my new fav's. It's so easy to login and key in a quick note about what's important to me at the time. You know how flighty we can be at times. Twitter can keep up with all my whims. So tomorrrow night our band is playing @ Django in midtown Atlanta. I'm just getting ready for that, tryin to stay focused on top priorities. I had to take a moment to let ya'll know whats up.

Crazy Nights

Although Cinese & I are all smiles, this was a crazy gig! At this point it was still early in the night. It all took place at the Ruff Rider Films Estate in Fayette County near Holyfield's mansion.

Anyway, WaterSeed had certain expectations and they were not met. We still had a good time performing because that's what we love to do. On top of all the challenges that night, someone backed into my car and damaged it.

GREAT, perfect evening to a crazy night!

The Grammy Goes to...

We all know that once an artist is Grammy nominated or performs on the Grammy's they have "made it". With that said I watch every year to see what's goin on at the top of the music game.

So Sunday night as I'm watching I realized that Rihanna, Chris Brown and Beyonce weren't there. Now we all know why C. Brown and Rihanna didn't make it to the show. My heart goes out to both of them; they are talented.

Why "B the Diva" wasn't there is still a mystery to me. If you know why comment on this blog.

It was cool to see preggers MIA bouncing around the stage with the "rap pack." Stevie Wonder with the Jonas Brothers was a twist. Overall I was disappointed with the show this year. Oh well, we should be there next year!

STIR it UP

My bad. It's been a minute but I'm back. 

When you hear of E.Period or Cocktails you think drinks, poetry and good music.  WATER SEED played STIR @ Art on 5.  Everyone on the show was very talented.   J Winston, 2 funny  comedians, and others. We had a blast!!!
